Security: The Assisted Living Facility is approved by the Emergency Management Division for Hurricane preparedness and Emergency evacuations. The location offers:

  • Accordion shutters on all windows and doors.

  • 3 day supply of food and water at all times.

  • 3 day supply of medications and personal supplies at all times.

  • Availability of Cell phones and non-electric telephone systems.

  • Full stand-by Generator.

  • A Fire alarm system with smoke detectors, pull stations & fire extinguishers.

  • A fire sprinkler system approved by the local fire department.

  • A pre-assigned shelter in case of an emergency evacuation.

  • Emergency preparedness training for staff.

  • Fire drills for residents & staff members.

Housekeeping: Daily Housekeeping and weekly laundry service along with complete room maintenance. Linens and towels are provided. Rooms are cleaned and maintained daily along with routine trash removal.

Transportation: Arranged for Doctor’s appointments, Shopping, Grocery store or other Recreational visits. Residents, who require assistance, can request an aide to accompany them. Regular, wheelchair & stretcher transportation along with ambulance service is arranged for and billed directly by the Transportation companies.

Entertainment: Live Music, Arts & Crafts, Bingo, Scrabble, Cards, Discussions, movie-time etc. are some of the activities offered, amongst many others. Basic Cable is available in all of the rooms.

Special Holidays are celebrated and observed.

Salon Services: Hair-cuts, Blow dry & set, Hair color, Perms, Manicures, and Pedicures etc. are available and are billed on a monthly basis.

Telephone: Telephone services for local calls are available. Residents can choose to get their own phone line installed from a Telephone company of their choice.

Visiting Hours: You can visit your loved ones from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm 7 days a week.

​

Pet Friendly: Small dogs and cats are allowed to visit the facility if their immunization record is current and provided to the facility.

VISITATION POLICY INDOOR OR OUTDOOR

​

Our Facility allow the visitation Indoor and Outdoor yet encourage the Outdoor common area as the preferred visitation area. Open air spaces are safer when being preventive. As a facility we will consider changes or intolerable weather, temperature changes and also any special needs or health conditions of our Residents. We as a Facility are committed to creating a comfortable and accessible outdoor space for visitation. We will also consider that any common areas indoors can be used for visitations.

 

Our facility will not prevent indoor visitations regardless of the vaccination status. We will only reduce or limit the visitation to the facility in the event of Risk to the residents, staff or visitors. At such time our facility will calculate the available space and inform the pertinent individuals of the restriction which shall be specific to amount visitors, lengh of time, frequency of visitation.

In-room visitations will also be allowed yet our facility will enforce the social distancing and the communicable disease infection prevention. If a when the facility is at risk we will also calculate the outdoor space in order to implement the needed limitation.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Visitors will be asked to avoid visitation if ill with any communicable disease.

  2. Visitors will be asked to consider not entering if positive to any signs a symptoms.

  3. Resident must sign a written authorization to receive consensual physical contact.

  4. Visitors, Staff, or Residents exiting the facility must sign in and out and answer the questions on the sign in log.

  5. Resident must Sign a Caregiver Designation Form.

  6. If Resident cannot sign the Caregiver Designation Form such must be signed by the Responsible Party.

  7. Visitor, Resident and Staff must understand that education of prevention will be provided.

  8. Resident, Staff and Visitors must understand that at any time the facility can implement the use of PPE Equipment.

  9. Resident, Staff and Visitor must understand that at any time the facility may request social distancing.

  10. Resident Needs will be respected and taken into account for the visitations.

  11. The facility will receive visitors from 9am to 9 pm.

  12. In the event of crisis the hours of visitation will be reduced from 9am to 9 pm. Only 2 visitors per residents will be allowed and a max of 4 visitors at a time. The visits may have a duration of 2 hours at a time, unless otherwise requested prior to the visit.

  13. Facility will be open to special request for visitation for individuals that cannot meet the facility schedule with a prior 24 hour request via email, phone, or mail.

  14. Visitors and Resident understand that staff will conduct rounds during visit.

  15. In the event any visitor poses a risk to the Resident or to the Staff the Facility holds the right to request such visitor to exit the facility immediately.

  16. Visitors can not be compelled to provide proof of vaccination or immunizat on status.

  17. Administrator will be responsible for adherence to the visitation policy and
